Hikurangi
Hikurangi is the name of the sacred mountain of the Ngati Porou tribe of the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. The summit of Hikurangi is reportedly the first place in the world to see the sun. Hikurangi means crest, or skyline, in Te Reo Māori, the indigenous Māori language of New Zealand.
Hikurangi font is one of Māori Fonts’ “Koru Suite” of fonts that use variants of the spiral, fern frond “koru” design motif of the Māori people of New Zealand – which symbolises growth and renewal – as its main internal design structure.
